Tapioca Pellet or Tapioca Hard Pellet is made from Tapioca Chips. While Tapioca Chip is cheaper due to no cost of production, Tapioca Pellet has some advantages to be considered.
1. Uniform product: Tapioca Chips are sun-dried, and moisture content could be varied among each batch. Production of tapioca pellets also includes heat process which helps maintain moisture content and creates uniform shape of product.
2. Storage and Transportation: The advantages of Tapioca Pellets over Tapioca Chips are not only the controlled quality, but also the logistics benefits. Tapioca Pellets occupy less warehouse and vehicle spaces compared to Tapioca Chips, resulting in lower storage and transportation costs especially for export and oversea customers.
